The nearest railway station is in St Austell, from here you can get the train to Plymouth and beyond, Newquay (via par), Truro, Camborne, Redruth, Falmouth, St Erth and St Ives. As Cornwall gets busy during the summer and parking in towns can be difficult, let the train take the strain.
Tip: If you plan to visit The Eden Project, it gets very busy, even more so during wet weather. We have found the best day to visit is a Saturday as this is usually change over day. If you are planning to arrive in Cornwall early on a Saturday, why not start your holiday with a visit to Eden or you could extend your holiday by visiting before you drive home, you may even miss the summer traffic jams by doing this.
